How can multiple people use one barcode?

How do barcodes work? How does one barcode work for multiple people or multiple events?

Your confirmation email barcode:

When you place an order with Showclix, you are given two "delivery methods":

  1. Mobile Delivery

  2. Print At Home Tickets.

Both methods include a confirmation email with one 'overall' barcode for the entire order. That barcode can be used for arrival at each event, the ticket scanner will be able to check in each person with that one barcode.

Mobile Delivery Tickets & Barcodes

If you chose 'mobile delivery' you will also receive a text message and barcode within 24 hours of the event, that barcode will be for all of the tickets to that event. With mobile delivery you cannot get individual barcodes for each person, you all need to show up together for check in, or, if you arrive at different times, you can tell the ticket scanner to only check in each person separately when they arrive, this will leave the remaining people active on the barcode until all have checked in. This is the only way to split the barcode on mobile delivery.

"Print at Home" Tickets

If you chose "Print at Home" then there is also a link in your confirmation email to "View/Print Tickets" which will allow you to download and print the individual tickets.

Finding Tickets & Barcodes

If you need help finding your tickets or barcodes, visit showclix.com and login with your email used to purchase to get a full history of your orders and find your tickets and barcodes.

Can I change the delivery method?

Unfortunately you cannot change the delivery method from one to the other after an order is placed.
